Tammy is wonderful to work with! So to make the client and myself happy (both extremely important) I offer new potential clients a free one hour consultation to give us both plenty of time to get to know each other in order to make sure that we are a “very compatible” duo! “The” Trainer/Inside Out Fitness #consulting #consultation #freeconsultation #freeinehourconsultation #outdoorstraining #outdoorsfunctionaltraining #functionaltraining #hoodriver #columbiarivergorge

I don’t spend too much time wondering about future traveling but one thing is certain, wherever I go I will not be spending much time in their gyms! I will, however, be looking to get my best “functional training in their great outdoors!” – “The” Trainer/Inside Out Fitness #travelandexercise #travelandleisure #travelanddestinations #travelphotography #travelandtourism #travelandexerciseatthesametime #travelandexe

I’m 60 years old!• I only exercise in the great “outdoors!” • I don’t lift heavy weights … • I don’t work out in any gym … WHAT I KNOW – • Muscles grow based on how hard you work! • heavy weights don’t allow more muscle mass to be grown or give more strength than lower weights or bands or body weight! • muscle responds to how much overall tension is applied & you know that is by how you “feel” during and after exercise!

I train myself 100% of the time outside! Since I have switched from the gym to outdoors, I personally feel so much better! I also have found out that because so much of my training now involves “body weight training” that I have had to learn more about my body and less about machines! It feels great to have to think so much more about my body! “The” Trainer/Inside Out Fitness

The main thing that a person doing “outside training” needs to master is body weight training! Let’s say that you are running a trail and decide to stop and do resistance exercise on a big rock (I do this all the time). What you need to be able to do is to “use your body as the resistance!” Why? Because the rock doesn’t move like dumbbells! What has to move is “your body” so you need to understand how to move your body in ways that you will provide that resistance to any part of your body that you choose! #outside #outsidetraining #hoodriver #columbiarivergorge
