What do you think? At first thought, many folks would probably pick “anchored bands!” Most likely because they don’t have to “mess or deal with them that much” because they don’t move! But if you are a true “connoisseur” of “functional training” then you know that having equipment that doesn’t maintain “perfect position” is a genre “mainstay!” What? For true functional training, one should choose to work with equipment or a “base” that tends to “move!” Why? Because that just adds to the effect you are looking for in the first place! When all equipment is “anchored,” then your training sessions become more- like “machine based!” That’s just the opposite of what folks turning to “functional training” are after! Now, having said all of that, I would prefer to use “unanchored bands” most of the time but sometimes add in the “anchored bands” just to mix things up! Thanks, “The” Trainer/Inside Out Fitness
