Do you know how certain things like eating good food or taking your vitamins or brushing your teeth properly is good for you but most don’t do it because the bad side effects are probably years down the road? This is one of those things! An AED (automated external defibrillator) can and does save lives every day across the world! You can ask any doctor if it would be good to have in your home if 2 or more people live there (someone has to hook it up because the other person will be unconscious)and I guarantee you that the doc would say “absolutely! It could definitely save a life, yours or your loved one! If asked, that same doc would probably tell you that they don’t have one in their house either but they should! If your heart is having an issue and is in a certain rhythm (v-fib) then a defibrillator is probably the ONLY thing that will save that life! Oh, you could call 911 and wait 15-30 minutes and if you’re not dead when they get there they will use their own “defibrillator” to save your life! But if you’re dead then it’s all over “pal!” Then imagine how the loved one (left behind) will feel (remember you’re dead) knowing that during that 15 minutes they could have hooked you up to the AED and saved your life, instead of just watching you die! Most people won’t pay any attention to this post until it happens! I understand, it’s like getting “burned out” of your home or business! It just happened to me and I spent very little time, before the fire, planning what I would do if it happened! Well now I spend lots of time planning (like I should have done before)! I also spend nights having horrible nightmares, waking in night sweats! #red #aedsaves #aedsaveslive #aedsaveslifes
