A Virginia couple’s date night at a drive-in theater had a plot twist worthy of a Hollywood romance movie.
Faith Ferraiolo thought she was simply coming to the Goochland Drive-In Theater in Hadensville on Saturday, May 30, for a showing of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, per a May 31 post shared on the theater’s official YouTube page. But her boyfriend, Nathan Kapus, had a big surprise up his sleeve.
According to Goochland, Nathan had reached out to theater staff in March, asking if they would help him pull off a surprise proposal for Faith.
“We were honored to work with him on this epic proposal,” the theater wrote over a video.
“Last night, our guests and crew were able to be part of their very special moment,” Goochland continued.

The video shows Nathan holding Faith’s hand as she covered her mouth in shock while Nathan appeared on the giant movie screen. In a pre-filmed message, he said, “I love you so much. I want to spend eternity with you.”
Then, in the live moment, Nathan got down on one knee and held out a ring box as he asked Faith, “Will you marry me?” After she said “yes,” he slipped the ring on her finger
