The New York Knicks rallied from a 29-point deficit to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 107-106 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday, June 10.
The Knicks take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series after producing the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history. The Spurs led by as many as 29 points during Game 4.
OG Anunoby made a tip shot to provide the game-winner with 1.2 left in regulation after Jalen Brunson missed a 3-point shot attempt.
“Just do whatever it takes to win,” Anunoby said. “… I had to make a play.”
Brunson managed to provide the Knicks with their first lead of the game with just 1:22 left in the fourth quarter.
Just before the go-ahead shot by Brunson, Victor Wembanyama missed a pair of free throws after the Spurs were ahead by one point with 1:45 left in the game.
The series will return to San Antonio for Game 5 on Saturday, June 13.
