Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?
I would say that I am “patriotic” because there are many things about “The United States” that I like and think “comparatively speaking” are “probably” an improvement over other nations.
Having said that, I haven’t been to a lot of other countries and I understand that most countries and their people probably think the same of their own nations! So I really can only “surmise” to a great degree about anything that compares the U.S. with other countries! But … even though I can’t have a direct correlation, in most cases, I still do have a warm feeling for my country because I’m sure that if I were to be able to have a comparison that the United States would come out on top in many instances!
